2021 Unveil Our Story Digital Conference
We're hosting a panel as part of Unveil Our Story's 2021 Digital Conference centered on "Using Courage To Find Our Creativity"
Imagine how much we could achieve if we set a goal to be 1% better than yesterday? This is the challenge we poses to our collective and something that Unveil Our Story embraces. We are so excited to be partnered with Unveil our Story for this conference and host this panel talk moderated by our very own APIA women, Camille De La Rosa & Jasmine Cruz.
At IHS, we believe that everyone is creative in some capacity, even if their field isn't necessarily traditionally considered "creative". So from diving deep into social media analytics through being a full-time artist, we're having a conversation with women from our InHerShoes community around courage and creativity.

#CommunityFirst Wednesdays in Partnership with Unveil Our Story
As women, we are strong and resilient yet soft and sensitive. And add the stress of social ideals for an AAPI woman…our daily commitment to ourselves may waver and feel unstable. We come with a lot of stories and history that defines who we uniquely are. We believe this is what builds community. Sharing stories while learning how we can ultimately serve others and ourselves in the best possible way.
Starting March 10 - May 19, we will host a bi-weekly 2 hr talking circle called Community First Wednesdays. This is what it will consist of:
Being open & honest with ourselves
Sharing as much or as little as you desire
Understanding that everything within the circle will be honored
Sharing how you are leading a creative life
Being curious and mindful of who you are through these conversations
What we are NOT about
Being critical of others and in judgement of others
Talking about others without consent
Negativity towards the group
Our overall goal is to help you navigate through your own journey and add to those origin stories. This is your time, your space, all just for you with other like-minded AAPI women. Registration for this space is limited and 3 months at a time (6 total sessions). It's a completely free attendance however, commitment is highly recommended. This will also be limited in the number of registrants so that we can honor everyone each session.
Attendance and registration is free but you must RSVP below. Once you register, an email will be sent to confirm your reservation with links to log in.
Community First starts on 3/10 from 6pm - 8pm (PST)!
